Just a quick thought:

If you would notice my FO banner, and you are a person who can see through me really well, you'd immediately think that it fits me. While making that, I unconsciously chose that picture over something else. The angle of the girl from the viewers POV, the way I brightened it to highlight certain parts, the girl's face's expression, and even her outfit speaks a lot about me.

That's not exactly a good thing.
Everyday, it takes a great deal of effort to prevent myself from bringing out that side of me.

Public sphere drained my brain. I think SocioComm will become more of a challenge the further we get into the course. Ah. Theories are really hard to grasp unless you know something about the topic which the theory is most related to, like say, politics or American history.

I just hope Sir Choa, which happens to be our class' very dear adviser, wouldn't call me. I'll be stunned.

On my way home, it rained once again. It's such a hassle when that happens.

I liked SocioComm earlier. I truly enjoyed it, even though the professor wasn't a bit amused by my sudden long "uhh" as a reply to his question. Well, first because the professor reminded me of Sir Fermin (and hence, Pauline comes into mind, and so on and so forth), and his passionate English literature classes during high school, which I took as a special elective. And second, I understood him. Quite later than I usually would, but nevertheless I understood.

After classes, I finished up my Filipino homework, which is due on Wednesday. All I have left to do is to translate half of the annotations, because half of them were originally written in Filipino (and it didn't amuse me one bit). I really have to brush up on my Filipino, since I started speaking bilingually 11 years ago, at a time when I hated studying Filipino the most. (I could never grasp Filipino grammar during that time.) And, as if that isn't enough, Filipino is the only subject I've failed in my entire life. I actually got a big fat D for that.

Well, I wrote this around 9 hours ago, but I lost the knack for it, so I stopped.

This morning, it's raining heavily causing a couple of black-outs to happen. I don't like rainy days. And just a while ago, I heard on the radio that a ship sank. At this day and age, a ship can still actually sink? Or is it just that I've been too ignorant of the happenings around the world. (Of course, that was a joke.)

Come to think about it, so many disasters are happening all at the same time. The massive earthquake in China, after that in another country in Asia, then in Japan. Storms here and there too.

I haven't seen this year in a peaceful light either. Something's always going on around me, and when one ends, another begins, which is not so good of a thing. Hottoitemo ii? I'd rather not elaborate because it's too much; every month since January, had a not-so-nice happening. There came a time when I wished of getting sick or jumping off from somewhere so that these things would just leave me alone. But it hit me that I could never do those things because I value myself too much for that. I won't say it's because of cowardice, since those are acts of cowardice per se.

When you get involved, you notice more things happening around you, I guess. I've never been involved so much in my life so I'm quite new to this. And I never really cared much about what's happening around me so I rarely notice them. Well, at least my life isn't at a stand still anymore... It's rockin'! Haha.

I was watching D no Arashi earlier. They featured various ways of making good use of things, aka recycling. For example, an egg alone could produce various items so that nothing goes to waste.

Egg yolk - mayonnaise
Egg white - merengue
Egg shell - chalk
Egg 'membrane' (the one beneath the shell) - oil-absorbent sheets

Another is the wastes of a train station (the likes of LRT & MRT).

Paper tickets - tissue paper (which the train station uses for their public restrooms)
Plastic card passes - bench (Read: Yes, yung inuupuan! The benches of that station are made of plastic card passes.)

I was so amazed while watching, and yet at the same time I was thinking, "sa Pilipinas, 'yang mga 'yan tinatambak lang sa Payatas!" It's a sad reality here in the Philippines, but yes, people are too lazy to do anything about it. Basta tambak lang, ayus na. No wonder Japan is so clean, while the Philippines... can't even be compared when it comes to cleanliness.

Of course there are many issues hindering the people from properly enacting laws to make this country cleaner, but as they say, "if there's a will, there's a way". Since there's no will, there are a plethora of excuses to justify the lack of it. This is the Filipino ideology. Tsk, tsk.

As for me, I don't think I'm contributing much, but I hate it when my siblings leave their trash where it's not supposed to be. Pati nanay ko, nakakainis. Basta-basta na lang nagiiwan ng basura sa tabi-tabi. And then she'd say, "ayus lang yan." Like WHUT?! I, on the other hand, keep my trash until I find a trash can. I wish people would too.

Parang naging advocacy of sorts na 'tong post na 'to ah. Hahaha.

'Di ko inabutan ang malakas na ulan pero inabutan ko ang malalim na baha. I don't know which one was better, but thinking about it now, I think it would be the former. After the rain, when Julie & I were on our way to Espana, we saw A LOT of cockroaches. It was the most number of cockroaches I saw within 10 minutes. Nakakadiri sobra...

I truly love Spanish class. Well, I love any language class for that matter... any of them, except Filipino. Haha. Yun lang. I never knew my surname meant victory in Spanish. :)

I just saw the ending of Last Friends.

I can't believe it already ended... :C I didn't catch the first few minutes because I took a quick look at the Himitsu no Arashi-chan episode on TBS only to find out that they're not showing Matsujun's date with Ooshima-san. When I changed the channel, it was already on the part where Ruka was giving her speech for being the top motocross racer in Japan.

Things that happened afterwards:
They find out from Michiru's mother that Sousuke died through suicide.
Ogurin packs up to work overseas and decided to bring his wife with him.
Eri gets proposed to by Ogurin in the airport all of the sudden and they get married. *soshocked!* Both Takeru and Ruka attend the wedding in a suit.
Takeru and Ruka are left in the sharehouse alone, and thus it becomes lonely.
Meanwhile, Michiru stays at her mother's acquaintance's house and works there too. She finds out that she is pregnant with Sousuke's child, and starts to remember the times when they were dating and when they first met. *wassosadhere*
Takeru surprises Ruka with a motorbike of his own and invites her to ride with him as they search for Michiru.
They go to Choshi and look for her there to no avail; they spend the night on the beach; Takeru admits to Ruka that he was molested by his step-sister that's why he can never "make a woman happy", but Ruka disagrees to that.
The next day, they get a lead and began to head to where Michiru works until they almost collided with a truck. *mademyheartstopforamoment* Ruka got wounded in the head, but she was alright. Ruka: "Takeru, shinpai sugiru yo." (Takeru, you worry too much.)
As they were about to head home, they see Michiru by accident outside the hospital.
They persuade Michiru to return to Tokyo but she refuses because she'll be reminded of Sousuke and remember that she's the one at fault with regards to Sousuke's suicide.
Takeru and Ruka decide to live with Michiru in Choshi instead. Two fathers, one mother, one child.
Michiru gives birth to a baby girl even though her life was on the line. All went well in the end.
Michiru writes a letter to Eri and Ogurin telling them that the four of them decided to return to the sharehouse in Tokyo and live there as friends, family, lovers, couple--an undefined relation yet full of love--because that way, they'll all be happy.

Michiru: My dear friends. You are my best friends. (She said it in English. ^_^)

'Di ako nabitin, pero nalungkot ako. Wala na akong aabangan every Thursday at wala nang competition sa ratings ang Himitsu no Arashi-chan. Haha. Well, at least now I can finish my analysis on this drama. :P

~~I forgot what else I was supposed to say~~. Ah. Uso o tsuite wa dame desu yo. Shitteru yo... Anata wa sono entori ni komento o kakimashita. Nani mo ittara, watashi wa kore kara mo shinjirenai. Grandfather: Well, it's only been a week. The students are probably trying to figure out what kind of teacher you are.

How oddly fitting... This is utterly coincidental. I kid you not.

I have a feeling that when I wake up tomorrow morning, I'd start panicking and think that I am late for class, only to realize later on that I have no class for the day. I haven't written my reaction paper for Scriptwriting class yet as well. Ms. Procrastination is still with me.

My internet had been slow all night, even until now. Perhaps it rained too hard earlier? I heard there was a blackout at home just before I arrived. I hate it.

Classes are getting better, I guess. The atmosphere's less dense, but even so, the class is still divided into large groups. Aside from that, misunderstandings are beginning to arise once again at such an early part of the semester. (Too early, in fact.) The renaissance of the second semester of 2nd year is beginning to unfold before us. I seriously don't like it. I mean, we are already divided as we are right now, and still, with the conflicts happening, we are being divided even more. Understanding is what we need right now, I think.

I finally watched Zettai Kareshi episode 9! ^_^

Soushi finally confesses to Riiko that he likes her! *izpartiallyshocked* The good side about that: Riiko openly admits that the feeling is mutual. "Watashi mo... zutto suki deshita." The bad side: Night heard everything and felt even more human than ever before. (But in the end, he's still a robot afterall.) & in tomorrow's episode, Soushi will ask Riiko to come with him to Paris and pursue being a patisserieya-san there. She will decline because for her, Night is also a very important person (or robot?).

Soushi: Ore to isshoni Paris e ikanai ka? (Won't you come with me to Paris?)
Night: Soushi-san wa honki de Riiko no koto suki nan desu ka? (Soushi-san, do you really like Riiko?)
Riiko: Night mo taisetsu na sonzai nan desu. (Night is also important to me.)
Soushi: Ore, omae no koto honki dakara. (I am serious about you.)

Gah. Sousuke died. Why, oh why?

Well, that was a little bit too expected, wasn't it? He finally commit suicide after realizing how bad he was. I wanted him to die, but then again, I expected "that death" to be someone else's. I was really expecting it to be either Takeru or Eri.

Somehow, when I saw Sousuke like that--hugging a pretty white wedding dress stained with dripping blood from his slit wrists, and sleeping peacefully--I felt sad for him. When he was crying alone, I also felt sad for him. He really was alone. Seeing the person he cares about the most surrender to him just for the sake of her friends must have felt like a deep stab in the heart, because it's like saying, "I'll sacrifice myself to you just so you don't touch my friends anymore." He must've felt how small his space is in her heart (if there even is any left), compared to her friends. The most important person in the world, who meant everything for you, just saw you as a mere person--that could've been his motivation for finally pursuing suicide. That's sad. It means he was special for nobody.

I wish he lives. But I doubt it since Nishikido Ryo already hinted Sousuke's (his character) death in his blog entry.

Now I'm just curious as to who gets married, as was seen in the preview... If the wedding really did happen.

My fangirl side, on the other hand, is ecstatic because it's the first time I see a pretty JE boy die a tragic death in his own drama. I've always seen them play the handsome and good protagonist, who always succeeds in the end. I admire Ryo for trying to act out a realistically evil antagonist , even if it meant him being associated as "the one who kept hitting Nagasawa Masami (Michiru)". (Well, at least that's what Ryo said in his blog entry.) Haha.

I wonder how MatsuJun reacts to his very much adored kouhai's extremely successful drama. It's because of Ryo's Last Friends, that Arashi's Himitsu no Arashi-chan doesn't rate too well. Hahahaha. All the people watche Last Friends instead of Himitsu no Arashi-chan... And I'm one of those people. XD

I also want to see MatsuJun in such a role. All this time, he's always perceived as shiny & sparkly in his roles that I can barely imagine the words 'bad /evil guy' ever being associated with him. And no, Doumyouji doesn't count as a bad guy. He's too stupid for that. LOL. Same goes with the rest of the Arashi members... Oh, wait. Except Ohno. He gets to be a bad guy starting July 4! ^__^ I hope he does Joo Ji Hoon's role well. :P

I absolutely love the melody of this song even though the meaning of the song is a bit on the ero side. I love jazz. :D Jazz is the first genre of music I ever considered music since it's what I always hear in the car and at home. Haha. I have a special attachment to Jazz music... ^_^ And I love this singer's voice! :3 She can sing! Haha.

Last night, when I drove, I accidentally yet nonchalantly bumped our van, which was parked in front of the one I was driving. And then, on my way back, I went to the opposite lane causing a slight disturbance to the normal flow of cars. Haha. The moment I got to my room, I fell asleep.

What I learned: It's bad to drive when you are sleepy.

Hello, livejournal! I will try once again to make good use of this journal by actually putting entries in it. Yay! Why is it so damn hard to leave an old journal 4 years of age? Oh, it's been that long, huh? Not to mention it has more than 500 entries in it. :(

Well, aside from memes and stuff, my mother informed me that she'll be going to Japan again this end of August. ASDF#$@!SD#%$^^AS~! And all I can say to that is: 私も行きたい！Would any kind soul be generous enough to sponsor me for a three-day trip to Japan?

Most likely, I won't be able to go. Actually, it was out of the question from the very beginning. Haha. And, for a consolation, I just might ask my mother to buy me some stuff from Japan. I'd really love a keitai though... I saw one lady using a softbank-sponsored keitai once, when I was on my way to SM North. Gotta love Japanese phones. Haha.

On the other hand, I heard Sho hurt his right thumb from a fall. Seriously, he should stop his silly habit of falling off from stages... It's not good. Haha. And just now, I'm actually listening to his "Pen no Sasu Hokou Chapter III" and I heard something really interesting. I heard Johnny's and bakayaro in one sentence. Haha.

That'll be all for now. I actually need to study and NEWS ZERO'll be on in a few minutes. I want to see Sho's broken thumb. LOL.

I feel like I'm completely wasting my sembreak. *sighs* I guess I kinda got used to the hell weeks in school that I miss doing something. Right now, all I do is download and wait for them to finish, then I watch/listen to them, after that I go to sleep. But I couldn't get any decent sleep because I am somehow being haunted by my grades. They're already out in UST, but the online ones would be updated Monday evening.Until then, I will be feeling very uneasy. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help but think about my English grade, which I know is manipulated by my professor. I can't afford to get a 3.

But amidst all that anxiety, somewhere deep inside me, I feel that there is really nothing to worry about. Ah~! I don't know what to think about anymore. Anyway, I have chosen not to worry, so I will try to stop thinking about it already. :)

I am utterly bored. (Who wouldn't notice that? This is already my second entry for today...) We have a meeting tomorrow for the CA report from 1-5pm. Gah. I badly wanna watch the game! Anyway, may game 3 pa naman 'di ba? 'Diba, diba? Yup, okee. I've been sleeping all afternoon, but I got to read a part of Plum Sykes' "Bergdorf Blondes".

Any random and seemingly interesting show I come across whenever I'm flicking through the channels. Bleh.
